The Center is under the direction of Miriam Jato. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies/Early Childhood Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and a Masters in Education from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL.

Miriam is working on becoming a certified child specialist and taking classes at University of California Santa Barbara. Her goal is to eventually complete a Phd in the Early Childhood Field. Another goal is to become a consultant to other pre-school owners so they can provide a safe and secure learning environment for all children.

She has several years of experience in the early childhood field working with various age groups, including lead teacher for an infant program. She has devised and implemented various programs for infants and pre-school children. She has had the privilege of working with adults with developmental disabilities as a caseworker, and as an Independent Living Counselor at a local Social Service Agency for six years.

Miriam is active in state and local professional early childhood associations. She is a member of Providers Network, National Association for the Education of Young Children, National Association of Professional Women, and National Federation of Independent Business. She continues to attend various conferences and workshops in and out of Florida to remain current with child care and business issues. She was a member at Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park, IL and was volunteering her time to assist with the five year old Sunday school class and other children activities throughout the year at Parkview. Miriam contributes her success to various individuals that have been an inspiration to her. She is especially grateful to God for all that He has done in her life. Her favorite saying is: "People with a heart for God have a heart for people".

Our teachers and associates are carefully chosen for their experience and training in the field of early childhood education and child development. They must be energetic, affectionate, warm, and sensitive to the needs of children and their parents. They are required by the Florida Department of Children and Family Services to complete a criminal background check. These background checks are updated periodically and the center is kept informed of any criminal charges that may occur after the employee has been cleared by the State Police and Federal Agencies.

All staff are trained in CPR and first aid. Various staff are certified in food and sanitation through the State of Florida. All employees are required by the State and center to attend ongoing education training in the field of child care to keep current with progressing research.
